Overview

Receipt Box ("the App") is designed with your privacy as a top priority. The App operates entirely offline and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

The App does not:

• Collect personal information
• Track your location
• Access your contacts
• Send any data to external servers
• Use analytics or tracking services
• Require account creation or sign-in
• Use cookies or similar technologies

Data Storage

All data you create within the App—including receipt images, extracted text, and organizational folders—is stored locally on your device only. This data is:

• Never uploaded to any cloud service by the App
• Never shared with third parties
• Never accessible to the developer
• Deleted when you uninstall the App

On-Device Processing

The App uses Apple's built-in technologies for all functionality:

• Camera & Photo Library: Used solely to capture or import receipt images at your request. Images are stored locally on your device.
• Text Recognition (OCR): Performed entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework. No images or text are sent externally.
• AI Text Extraction: Uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models to parse receipt data. All processing occurs locally on your device.

These permissions are optional and only used when you explicitly initiate the corresponding action.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. The App does not collect information from any users.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
